Your tax-deductible donation goes a long way towards helping us provide a continuum of care for our patients, including the following:

• Expert emergency assessment and diagnosis
• Surgery or other intervention by veterinarians and certified veterinary technicians
• Comprehensive treatment plans
• Close observation seven days a week during recovery in our hospital and assessment of the animal's ability to feed and care for itself
• Transfer to outside habitats for physical rehabilitation and pre-release assessment
• Release into the wild or, if the animal cannot be released, transfer to a licensed, certified sanctuary offering a permanent home for educational purposes

Financial contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated and greatly needed for our work to continue. Donations can also be made in honor or memory of someone special. When doing this, please advise to whom we should send an acknowledgement card and what occasion the gift is to commemorate.

DONATIONS OF TANGIBLE GOODS

Donations of food supplies, cleaning products and many other tangible goods are also appreciated. We can make good use of many things that might be in that "throw away" pile now gathering dust in your attic or garage. Some of the items on our "need it now" list are below.

FOLKE PETERSON CENTER WISH LIST

Cleaning suppies: liquid laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, bleach, window cleaner, toilet paper, plastic trash bags, paper towels, etc.

Maintenance supplies: mops, brooms, squeegees, sponges, scrub brushes, plastic laundry sinks, buckets, etc.

Animal supplies: pet carriers, cat litter pans, food bowls, cages, crates, aquariums, aquarium pumps, capture nets, leather gloves (preferably welding gloves), etc.

Hospital supplies: saline, syringes, catheters, gauze pads, bandages, vet wrap, alcohol, incubators, electronic scales, heating pads, surgical instruments, baby bottle warmers, etc.

Linens: towels, sheets, blankets, pillow cases, cage bedding, etc.

Tools: hand and power tools, hoses, nozzles, screws, nails, gardening tools, etc.

Miscellaneous: office supplies, 8½ X 11 copier paper, lap top computers, slide projector, refrigerators, freezers, binoculars, newspapers, books on nature related topics, field guides, native plants for habitats, etc.
