President Randy Fine, PhD, is a longtime educator who received his doctorate in gifted education from La Salle University and masters degree in fresh water biology (Limnology) from Eastern Michigan University. He currently operates his own education consulting business, Fine Student Services, specializing in the development of gifted science curricula and the counseling/guidance of gifted and honor-level underachieving students.

Vice president and Treasurer M.C. "Cris" Boehler has been an animal lover her entire life, from the time she grew up in Argentina until she settled in South Florida to a successful career in banking. While working for SunTrust Bank she served as a real estate advisor to the Fort Lauderdale-based Folke Peterson Foundation. As part of that mission, she was instrumental in the planning/development of FPWC, which was constructed with funds donated by that foundation. She also served as real estate advisor and board member for Bambi Wildlife Sanctuary, on whose property FPWC was built. A certified property manager, regional property manager, and founding board member of FPWC, Cris currently is a vice president of Comerica Bank in Fort Lauderdale.

Board Secretary Barbara Hiaasen is a third generation native South Floridian. She holds a B.S. degree in Zoology and Botany from Duke University and an M.S. degree in Environmental Science from FAU. She is a Florida licensed clinical laboratory supervisor and has over 25 years of health care experience in both human and wildlife hospital facilities. She also has many years of experience as both a wildlife and environmental research assistant at several major universities. Barb served as FPWC's Executive Director from 2006-2007.

Ms. Carolyn Brombacher, Esq. is an attorney and lives in West Palm Beach with her husband and daughter. She loves animals and has served as legal counsel to the Folke Peterson Wildlife Center, Inc. since 2003. Ms. Brombacher received her B.A. degree in 1988 from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and her J.D. degree in 1992 from the University of Miami. She is currently admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, the Florida Bar, and the United States District Court, Southern and Middle District of Florida. In addition to serving as a director on the board of FPWC, Ms. Brombacher also currently serves on the Probate Rules Committee for the Florida Bar, the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Florida Bar, the 17th Circuit Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee, and on the Probate Law and Rules Committee for the Real, Property and Trust Section of the Florida Bar.
